The new Millcreek Community Center will be opening in spring 2012. Architectural Nexus has been selected as the designer of this new library. Nexus has extensive experience in the design of libraries and other civic projects.

The Mill Creek area is a community in flux. As the traditional population ages, a new generation of families are moving into the area. The current population is comprised of a wide variety of demographic groups. These groups have similar needs: Library Services, Recreation Services and Community Services. The Mill Creek Site Master Plan will address the size and location of several County Programs in one location.

Patrons of the former East Millcreek Library may find full library services at any of our 17 branches. The two closest branches to the East Mill Creek Library location are Holladay and Smith. The Holladay Library is the larger of the two and is located at 2150 E. Murray-Holladay Rd (4730 So.). Many East Mill Creek residents are having their holds or reserves sent to the Smith Library at 810 East 3300 South.
